The Website

Our collaboration with APT started with a website redesign that would show users a professional and trusted company.

We did this by starting with consistent colours and fonts that work throughout the site and show a strong brand.

The updated website is built to be fully responsive across devices making it possible for their customers to find and use APT’s site on mobile and desktop.

As well as responsive design the website now has improved user experience with simple to use navigation that allows users to access the content they need; to understand the services they offer and the plastics they work with and their individual benefits to help make an informed decision. Contact information is easy to access throughout the site so orders can be placed, and the chatbot feature allows questions to be answered quickly.

Photo galleries are featured across the site to give the user an insight into the manufacturing process and finished products.

Once the website design was completed, we started work on SEO & PPC.

Keyword Research

We regularly conducted keyword research related to UKF’s target audience. Data is researched based on the precise nature of the personas we need to target.

Website Page Audits

After developing our list of targeted keywords, we carried out a web page audit of the designated service pages. Our technical team then made any recommended changes in terms of wording and conversion techniques and suggested additional landing pages where needed.

From there we moved on to look at the on-page aspects in the form of optimising the following:

The Results

Since working on these accounts to improve traffic to the site we have seen a 37.8% increase in engaged sessions in comparison to the previous period.

There has been a 36.8% increase in overall users too.

The total number of page views have also increased by 33.6%

The search engine optimisation work we have done for APT’s website has successfully increased organic search traffic and contributed to the paid search results

There has been an increase in users and engaged sessions coming from referrals from SEO and backlink work:

  • Overall sessions increased by 1.1K%
  • Users increased by 1.5K%
  • Page views increased by 863.7%
  • Engaged sessions increased by 595.7%

Organic search results have created increases for:

  • Users coming to the site by 44.1%
  • Engaged sessions on the site by 16.8%

Paid search and display brought in 80.3% of traffic in the last 6 months.

The usage of display ads has achieved these results:

  • 9% increase in engaged sessions
  • 4% increase in users
  • 9% increase in avg. engagement time

Paid search ads have created increases in traffic to the site:

  • In the last 6 months there have been 16.5K sessions on the site from search ads.
  • Page views have increased to 19.6K
